Yield?

It's quiet this morning.  Sandra and Cortne are sleeping in, Chris has some friends over to spend the night, Chelsea is at a friend's house.  It's much different than last night.  There were air soft wars, music blasting from upstairs, haircuts, American Idol, Criminal Minds, etc.  

I'm reminded of what my father used to say.  "We don't yield enough."  Yield?  who says that anymore?  He did.  What he was referring to was the act of being still and realizing who God is and who we are.  Psalm 46:10 NLT says, “Be still, and know that I am God!  I will be honored by every nation.  I will be honored throughout the world.”  

Pause, be still, yield to God.
